Board Meetings
The District Energy Corporation (DEC) holds publicly convened Board meetings quarterly. The next meeting date and time is listed below.
The DEC Board of Directors will meet in a publicly convened session on July 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in the LES Board Room at 9445 Rokeby Road, Lincoln NE. The meeting is open to the public in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act.
You will be required to adhere to any social distancing or masking requirements in place at the time of the meeting. Please enter the LOC off Rokeby Road at the 91st Street gate and park in the lot on the west side of the building. Enter the building through Door 50.
The Board packet and agenda will be available online one week prior to each meeting. You may also contact us at any time for a copy of the current materials.
Did you know that each DEC plant is unique?
Our Lincoln Operations Center DEC plant is one of two DEC plants that has a geothermal well field. The geothermal well field for this plant consists of 320 wells that are 365 feet deep. Utilizing a geothermal well field is a green and innovative thermal energy solution that allows heat to be added, stored, and removed from the earth.
